Biography

The subjects of Djaypi's artworks are symbols of mankind's contemporary evolution. Like an historian, he collects and dissects electronic devices that each, at the time they were released, significantly contributed to progress.

Note sorting machines, laptops, video game systems, cameras and cam recorders – Djaypi breaks their external envelopes and disposes the invisible tiny pieces that tie all their functionalities together.
