Under the name Fabrika Ouch hide two Russian and Ukrainian artists living in New York. Their work mainly draws on the political and social climate and offer a creative and humoristic version of a raw reality that, according to them, we do not question as often as we should. Using stencil and silkscreen in addition to graffiti allow them to deliver systematically repeated messages that multiply like viruses affecting our world.

 

Their participation in the 2011 Occupy Wall Street movement in New York as well as in various actions of civil disobedience echoes their vision of an ideal society more respectful of the Earth and of the individuals' liberties and aspirations. They use New York bike or metro maps as the media of their recent works.​
